Call for articles
Each year, Dutchess County Historical Society publishes a collection of essays by local researchers, scholars, and historians. The year book's theme is announced in January, with authors submitting relevant articles by May 1. Recent themes have included such topics as sports history, women's history, family history, the Hudson River, poetry, and FDR's life in Dutchess County.

Deadline for submission: May 1.
Acceptance for publication is at the discretion of the editor and the DCHS Publications Committee.

Book Sales

Dutchess County Historical Society has an extensive list of books and pamphlets for sale. Many back issues of DCHS year books (published since 1914 and containing articles on a wide variety of historical topics) are also available for sale. An index of year book articles (1914-2005) is available for purchase.
