School Resources
For students and teachers, the Historical Society offers tours of the Glebe House historic site in Poughkeepsie and rental of our special history trunks filled with objects and ideas for use in lesson plans relating to the 4th and 7th grade local history curriculum.
Teacher workshops, a historical speakers bureau for schools, library and reference materials designed for teachers, and a membership program for schools, teachers and students are currently in the planning and development phase.
